Increased accessibility for face-to-face and online events and lectures

ProxyHands is an app that allows you to ask questions at events to all people. With and without disabilities (motor, blindness, speech impairment...).

Download in appstore
Once in a chat if we have asked a question we will have the turn number, the people in front of us and the possibility to edit our question.

How does it work?

With an app available for iOS and Android (fully accessible for blind people).

The first thing to do is to select whether we are attendees or moderators of the event.

Start of the app where we have 2 options, enter a chat with a code or moderate a chat.
In the screen to join a chat, you can enter the code you are given in the chat to ask questions in it.

Each talk has a code associated with it

Event attendees only have to type the code and access the talk - no registration or personal data!

They can ask for a turn to speak, without having to physically raise their hand, and if they have voice problems, type the question for a moderator to read it for them.

And the moderators?

They can select which chat they want to moderate from a list that has been previously registered on the platform.

In the moderator view we have our event with a list of talks, their code so that attendees can enter and their location. You can enter any of them.
In the moderator view, once we enter a chat, we see all the pending questions, the finished ones and we can even create new questions for people who are not using the application.

Manage and give way to questions

They give the floor to the next person on the list, and for those who have difficulty speaking or are in a remote location, they will ask the question in their place.

Frequently Asked Questions

What types of events is ProxyHands available for?

For all types of face-to-face and/or streaming events or classrooms in educational centers, as long as there are talks or conferences where you can interact with the audience. In larger events there are usually moderators with microphones who approach people in order to ask their questions, but in smaller events, even the speaker or teacher can act as moderator, giving way to the questions.
